CAMP SONRISE
Program
2024 Theme: Faith that Moves Mountains
WEEK 1 (JUNE 17-21) THE FIRST FAMILY
God created everything for the benefit of humanity. And the first family got to enjoy it all… until a bad choice changed everything.
WEEK 2 (JUNE 24-28) : SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND CONFERENCE CAMP MEETING
Camp Sonrise will be walking over to the Southern New England Campgrounds each day during this week. More details to come.
WEEK 3 (JULY 1-5 *closed July 4) : THE FAITHFUL FEW BEFORE THE FLOOD
Once sin entered the world things got really bad, really quick. God was ready to bring on the flood and start over, but there were always a few who were faithful and walked with God. We will learn about Enoch, Methuselah, Noah and his family and all that they went through.
WEEK 4 (JULY 8-12) : JOB: WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO BLAMELESS PEOPLE
No one likes to be in pain. No one likes being sick. And no one likes being hurt. But no matter how bad things get, there is one thing this world can’t take from us - the joy we receive from knowing God!
WEEK 5 (JULY 15-19) : ABRAHAM’S BIG DEAL
God made a deal with Abraham! And all Abraham had to do was trust God completely. Easier said than done!
WEEK 6 (JULY 22-26) : THIEF IN THE FAMILY
Sometimes, through unethical means, we try to “help” God do things that He has promised to do. When we lie and deceive others in order to get our own way (even if we think something good will come of it), it causes problems in our families and in our community.
