SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION (LAST UPDATE January, 2023)

 Hello Camp Families,

We are so excited to spend the summer with your children. We will have 6 weeks of summer fun.

As we prepare for each week, we ask you to prepare as well:

1.  CONFIRM YOUR CHILD’S ATTENDANCE

It is vital that we keep our weekly enrollment updated, so that we can plan accordingly.  Please keep us updated if you make any changes or additions to the weeks you reserved.

2.  READ CAMP SONRISE HANDBOOK

Please read the Camp Sonrise Handbook linked here.

3. COVID 19 INFORMATION

The health and welfare of our campers and staff remains our highest priority. Please read the following information to learn more about what we're doing to maintain a healthy environment. We will continue to update these guidelines based on CDC recommendations and state and local directives.

  • CAMP ATTENDANCE: Camp staff and campers cannot attend Camp Sonrise if they are COVID-19 positive, or living in the same household with someone who is COVID-19 positive. They will be welcomed back after their isolation period has ended, or when a negative COVID-19 test has been presented.

  • FACE MASKS: Not Required

  • SICK CAMPER: If a camper begins to show any signs of illness while at camp, we will immediately contact their guardian to come pick them up. We have designated a separate space to isolate the child, where he/she will be monitored at all times until the camper is picked up.

  • HAND WASHING: Campers will be taught the proper way to wash their hands every Monday (with many reminders throughout the week), and will be instructed to wash their hands many times throughout each day at camp (after activities, before and after lunch, after using the restroom, etc.).

  • CLEANING: There will be frequent disinfection of high-touch, high-traffic areas, and enhanced cleaning after each day of camp.

Camp Sonrise reserves the right to change policies pending new information from the CDC or the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our COVID-19 policies, please contact the Camp Director.

3. PAYMENTS

  • All payments are made on Monday mornings on the week your camper or CIT is attending. Payments are made in the form of cash, check, or credit card at the time of drop off on Monday mornings.

  • Campers are NOT allowed to stay unless the camper is registered and the week has been paid for.
