142nd Founder's Day Fundraiser

We have established the 142nd Founder’s Day Fundraiser to ensure that SLA will continue its legacy of Adventist Christian education until Christ’s return.

On Wednesday, April 19, 1882, the New England School (South Lancaster Academy) began a legacy of Adventist Christian education when it opened with nineteen students and two teachers who gathered in an abandoned carriage house in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. Still, to this day, South Lancaster Academy (SLA) is known as a pioneer Seventh-day Adventist church school that has influenced thousands of students for more than a century to Serve, Love, and Achieve.

Please consider giving to the Founder’s Day Fundraiser so that we may continue the legacy until Christ’s return.

Worthy Student Scholarship

.

Nearly half of our students are able to attend SLA thanks to donations to this fund.

Building for Eternity

SLA’s campus is more than 50 years old and needs infrastructure updates to continue education for the 21st century.

Donations to this fund support the Capital Campaign that goes towards major infrastructure improvements and expansions that go beyond the operating budget (General Fund). This includes upgrades, renovations, and purchasing new equipment

Committee of 100

This is an elite group of 100 people who pledge to give $1,000 or more annually to SLA. Each year, members of the Committee of 100 vote on which capital improvement project they want to direct their funds.

General Fund

Support SLA Crusaders

Support our Crusaders by helping to…

  • Update benches and bleachers in the gym.

  • Purchase sports equipment and uniforms.

  • Purchase van for transporting teams to games.

  • And more!

Crusaders Club

We want to offer our alumni and supporters the chance to give the gift of sports to every student at SLA who wishes to participate. We offer three membership levels to choose from that comes with different perks!

FIRST Lego League Robotics Club

Support our students in grades 5-8 as they learn about robotics, engineering, programming, presentation skills and more. Students compete against other Adventist schools through Adventist Robotics.

FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Club

Donations to this club help pay for the high school robotic supplies and travel to Florida each year to participate in the Adventist Robotics Championship to compete against other Adventist academies.

Other Specified Fund

If you’d like your gift to go toward a specific fund at SLA, such as music, art, mission trip or anything else, please use the drop-down menu to select where you’d like your funds directed.

1882 Society
