Classical Education. Spiritual Lens.

Genuine Christian education seeks to integrate God’s word into every facet of the curriculum. In addition to yearly courses in Bible, each subject taught at SLA aims to integrate faith and learning.

A Degree track made for you

With three distinct diploma designations, students can find the high school experience tailored to what fits their future occupational interests and college goals. Choose from a general elective-based track, a college preparatory, or an honors diploma.

Your Curriculum. Connected.

Enrolled grade 9-12 students receive a school email and access to Google's office productivity suite. Assignments are submitted for grading via Google Classroom and our Moodle platform. Students are issued a Chromebook containing all their textbooks and related materials. Elementary students use classroom Chromebooks to supplement their lessons.

We're Honored to Offer Honors.

Beginning in Grade 9, students can choose an honors course designation for any core course in SLA's curriculum catalog. Stand out on your college resume by showing strength of schedule by going the extra mile!

build, cook, create, and perform.

With a wide range of elective courses to choose from, every student can grow in their interest area. Choose from courses such as culinary arts, drama, woodworking, art, gymnastics, mobile app design, and many more. We have a course that will spark your creative side.

Serve as Christ's Hands & Feet.

Our students learn to live their faith out loud. Elementary students sing at nursing homes, create May baskets for local communities, and raise money for local charities. Our high school students lead out in community ministries such as church services for children, Friday night vespers programs, and local support for charities.

A Safe Place to Call Home

At SLA, we encourage all our students to treat one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. In addition to annual anti-bullying campaigns to educate and inspire students, each classroom takes an ongoing, proactive approach to teaching kindness to others and respect for all. If issues do arise, our climate safety program provides easy, convenient reporting of any issues simply by logging online to www.mysla.org/help.

Stand Tall. Talk Small. Play Ball.

As a member of the Worcester County Athletics Conference (WCAC) and the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), our students participate in a wide range of team sports. Grades 5-6 students can participate in basketball, while grades 7-12 can join baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, and volleyball.

Our Music Department Hits the Right Note

Beginning in Kindergarten, our music program offers a comprehensive growth structure. Elementary students learn different instruments as they grow and perform in class choirs. After school lessons from Thayer Conservatory tutors are available onsite. In high school we offer orchestra, choir, hand bells and our renowned traveling choir, Il Vocé.
